However, to limit the number of login details, we provide quick login links to the key areas from the Billing Centre. This means that if you remember your Billing Centre login then you can access most of the other areas.
Billing Centre
The Billing Centre is for invoices, payments, renewals and support tickets.
You will only have access to this area if you are a top level client (you placed the order direct with Saffas and not through a third party or reseller).

You can attempt to login to the Billing Centre a set number of times. Thereafter, the system will suspend you from any further attempts for 2 minutes.
Generally, there are two reasons why clients can't access the Billing Centre ...
1 - using the wrong login details
Make sure you copy and paste the username and password because they are both case sensitive.
2 - cookie / cache setting is wrong
Clear out all records of any existing cookies relating to Saffas / Poldings then make sure your browser is set to accept cookies and try again.
If you then try to login and continue to have problems, let us know and we will look into it for you.
Control Panel
The Control Panel is where you can setup and manage your website, domain and email. You will only have access to this area if you have a hosting plan.

Webmail
The Webmail interface allows you to access your email online. You will only have access to this area if you have previously setup a pop3 or IMAP mailbox on the server.

If you forget your Webmail password, you have the following options ...
from your Control Panel: / mail / view manage accounts / reset password
For security reasons, we will not reset Webmail or email passwords for you. Instead, if you need us to help, we will ensure you have access to your Control Panel and then help you to reset it yourself.
WHM
The WHM area is for resellers to create and manage their own client hosting plans. You will only have access to this area if you have reseller privileges on your account.
We do not provide quick login links to reseller WHM centres online. Instead, please view the Welcome Mail you receive when you first setup your reseller plan.

FTP
The FTP area allows clients to access and manage server files online. You will only have access to this area if you have a hosting plan.
The username and password for the FTP area are the same as your Control Panel. If you forget your FTP login then follow the above instructions for resetting your Control Panel details.
Security Tips
As a client, you can change your passwords at any time. If you do, make sure the new password offers a good level of security and is difficult to guess.
Using a secure or 'hard to guess' password will decrease the risk of third parties hacking into your personal details. Remember, some hackers use quite sophisticated tools to crack passwords and if yours is insecure it could compromise your account.
A few tips in setting a new password ...
- DO NOT use a dictionary word
- DO NOT use family, friend or common names
- DO NOT use sequential letters or numbers (abc, 123)
- DO NOT use the same password for multiple logins
- DO use random strings of letters and numbers
- DO use different passwords for different logins
- DO include upper and lower case letters at random
Another tip is NOT to write passwords down on pieces of paper.
In order to help prevent problems with spam and other issues as a direct result of the account password being too weak, we employ silent scripts to notify us of high risk accounts.
All servers are installed with password 'cracking' software which will be used to run a low level check on user passwords. If this software is able to guess/match any passwords we will contact the user (or reseller if applicable) to request that the account password is changed.
It should be noted that our checking procedure is very low level and only matches user passwords that are extremely insecure and therefore easy to crack.
Making sure that all passwords are set beyond the most basic possible security should benefit all users and make our servers and individual accounts being more secure.
