Not everyone uses a Favicon Icon but it can add a little extra customization to your website and will allow your bookmarked site to stand out from the others.

Create an image that is exactly 16 x 16 pixels. This can be a small version of your logo or some other appealing image.
It is often advisable to use a professional
icon because at just 16 x 16 pixels, it's hard to make it look good.
When you have your icon, save it with with the following filename: favicon.ico
Then upload it to your root directory: http://www.change-domain.com/favicon.ico
You may need to refresh your browser cache before your new icon is displayed.
Newer browsers such as Firefox and IE7 should pick up the new icon pretty quickly however, older browsers may take a little time or need further direction.
If your browser does not display the icon, you can show the icon location by adding the following code to the header tags of your homepage ...
